IFO Children and Youth includes reception, investigation, placement of children and youth, family law, open care services, open preschool, and administration. The operation is divided into three teams and our approach is based on Signs of Safety. We are now seeking a confident and committed social secretary for our investigation team. The team consists of a senior social secretary, 1.5 reception secretaries, and four investigation secretaries. Job Responsibilities As a social secretary in Children and Youth, Investigation, you are responsible for investigating children's and youth's need for support and services and ensuring they receive the help they need. You handle and document cases according to the Social Services Act and other relevant legislation in the child and youth area. The assignment includes conducting investigations, drawing up care and implementation plans, and following up on decided services. You collaborate closely with children, guardians, and families as well as with external partners such as schools, child psychiatric services, support homes, HVB facilities, and other actors involved with the child. Work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues within the social services. You also have support from a senior social secretary who is responsible for day-to-day management and guidance in your daily work. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a social worker and want to make a difference for children and youth in an important social service. You are confident in your professional role, have good interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. You work in a structured and independent manner while valuing collaboration and contributing to a positive work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements for the position: Social work degree. Good ability to work independently and to plan and prioritize your work. Good collaboration skills and respectful conduct when working with children, families, and partners. Good documentation skills. Good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing. B driver's license. Meritorious: Experience working in social services. Experience with public authority work in the child and youth area. Experience and training in Signs of Safety.
