Job Responsibilities As a social secretary, you work independently with qualified public administration according to the Social Services Act and contribute to the development of working methods, routines and collaboration within the operation and with external actors. You meet individuals with complex needs and combine legal expertise with professional judgment, efficient case handling and a holistic perspective. In the role, you will, among other things: Work with legally certain, high-quality and efficient public administration Investigate, assess and make decisions according to the Social Services Act Follow up decisions according to the Social Services Act Assign care and support placements Coordinate moves to care and housing facilities Collaborate with providers and internal and external actors Contribute to the development of routines, processes and working methods You get to use your experience and development skills in an independent role with the opportunity to influence. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Bachelor's degree in Social Work (210 hp) At least 6 months of experience with public administration according to the Social Services Act (SoL) Good knowledge of legislation and case law as well as experience documenting and justifying decisions Very good Swedish in speech and writing Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Able to cycle It is meritorious to have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), several years of experience with public administration according to the Social Services Act, and experience working with elderly people, people under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry. About the Workplace The Public Administration Division within the Health, Care and Services Administration in Malmö city has approximately 180 employees and is organized into three units: ordinary housing, special investigation and short-term care, and fees, placement and housing. The division also includes development secretaries who support the entire division's quality and development work. You will work within the placement and housing section, which serves users who have been granted or already live in special housing. The section's main task is to follow up decisions on special housing and place individuals in special housing, short-term housing and respite care. We in the Health, Care and Services Administration are, with our approximately 5,500 employees, Malmö city's second-largest administration. We have collective responsibility for Malmö's home care, care facilities, meeting places, home health care and rehabilitation.
