Your role
The position of social worker in economic assistance is significant and multifaceted. In dialogue with the client, you work to find a solution tailored to the individual. You often meet people in crisis with complex life situations. In your work, you collaborate with other units within the district administration and external partners. As a senior social worker, you primarily work with a smaller number of cases where the client's issues are very complex.
Your main responsibilities include:
Investigating and making decisions on economic assistance.
Motivating toward self-sufficiency
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Using assessment tools such as Initial Assessment (IB), FIA, FREDA short questions
We place great emphasis on using MI, BIP, Signs of Safety, and team-based work.
Your competence and experience
For this position, you must have:
Degree in Social Work
Many years of experience as a social worker in economic assistance
Experience working with complex cases
Experience working in psychiatry
We consider it meritorious if you have experience with:
Work with substance abuse issues
MI (Motivational Interviewing), BIP, Signs of Safety
