Ref: 20261982 We at Pauliskolan are seeking a social pedagogue for a temporary position during the period November 1, 2026–October 31, 2027 for our enhanced program. Work with us and help contribute to the future of Malmö residents and society! Duties As a social pedagogue, you are responsible for strengthening students in their social development. You have a particularly student-centered role where you actively work on relationship-building and provide support for students in their daily school environment. You are a trusted adult, especially as extra support in the classroom, but also on school grounds during breaks. You work preventatively and remedially against harassment and bullying, while actively working to ensure all students feel included, safe, and achieve established goals. In conversations and projects, you motivate, support, and create security for students in school and in their study situations. Together with the school counselor, mentors, or independently, you facilitate mediation conversations and other supportive interventions for students. Your workdays also include structured collaboration with other school staff, particularly teachers and student support services. Qualifications Requirements: Post-secondary education relevant to the position comprising at least two years of full-time studies (120 credits or two-year vocational training) Previous experience with similar work Good understanding of school goals and quality work Good digital competence Good Swedish in speech and writing. Meritorious: Experience working with children and youth with NPF diagnoses. As a social pedagogue, you handle complex matters and find solutions that promote safety, inclusion, and well-being for students. You have good understanding of people's different circumstances and adapt your approach to individual needs. Furthermore, you are flexible, see opportunities in change, and use new information to develop support measures. Through a relationship-building and inclusive working style, you build trust and collaborate with students, colleagues, and other professionals.
