Social Worker for Service - Relief Services for Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Nature of Work - direct work with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder in relief services, - provision of support to clients during their short-term stay in the service and creation of a safe and stimulating environment, - support for users in managing routine personal care activities and daily tasks, - support in developing independence, social and communication skills, - individual work with the client according to their needs and individual plan, - assistance to clients in orienting themselves in the service environment and in participating in regular daily activities, - practice and consolidation of skills leading to the highest possible degree of independence, - support for clients in meaningful use of free time, - cooperation with the multidisciplinary team of the service and follow-up institutions, - maintenance of basic electronic documentation on the provision of social services. We Require - education corresponding to the position of social worker according to Act No. 108/2006 Sb. (higher professional or university education in special education or social work), - criminal record excerpt, - excellent communication skills and respectful approach to clients, - ability to work independently and as part of a team, - reliability, responsibility and psychological resilience, - empathy, patience and ability for individual approach, - willingness for further education Advantages - experience in social services, - experience working with persons with autism spectrum disorder or persons with intellectual disability, - experience working with persons with challenging behavior requiring care, - education or courses focused on working with persons with ASD.
