Job Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized plans and care plans in residential social services combined with direct work with clients,
- Supporting persons with autism spectrum disorder in managing daily personal care activities and household management,
- Supporting the development of independence, social, and communication skills,
- Individual work with clients according to their needs and personalized plans,
- Assisting with orientation in social settings and supporting clients in asserting their rights and legitimate interests,
- Training and reinforcing skills that promote the highest possible degree of independence,
- Supporting clients in leisure activities and community engagement,
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary service team and related institutions,
- Maintaining electronic documentation of social service provision.
Requirements
- Education meeting the qualifications for a social worker position according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll. (higher professional or university-level education in special education or social work),
- Criminal record clearance,
- Excellent communication skills and respectful approach to clients,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- Reliability, responsibility, and psychological resilience,
- Empathy, patience, and ability to provide individualized care,
- Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development,
Advantageous
- Experience in social services,
- Experience working with persons with autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disabilities,
- Experience working with persons with challenging behavioral support needs,
- Education or training focused on working with persons with ASD.
