Nature of Work
- Direct work with children and adults with ASD in residential social services - Home for Persons with Disabilities (DOZP) and Relief Services (OS),
- providing support to clients during daily activities and during their stay in the service, creating a safe, stimulating and respectful environment,
- supporting users in managing routine personal care activities and household management,
- support in developing independence, social and communication skills,
- individual work with the client according to their needs and individual plan,
- assisting clients in orientation in social environment, involvement in daily activities and exercising their rights and legitimate interests,
- training and reinforcing skills leading to the highest possible level of independence,
- supporting clients in meaningful leisure time activities and community involvement,
- cooperation with the multidisciplinary team of the service and related institutions,
- maintaining basic electronic documentation on the progress of social service provision.
We Require
- education corresponding to the position of social worker according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll. (higher professional or university education in special education or social work),
- criminal record extract
- excellent communication skills and respectful approach to clients,
- ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- reliability, responsibility and psychological resilience,
- empathy, patience and ability for individual approach,
- willingness for further training,
- documentation of vaccination against viral hepatitis types A and B, or willingness to undergo vaccination.
