THEIA - Crisis Center is a non-profit non-governmental organization that helps anyone who finds themselves in a situation they cannot resolve on their own. In the South Bohemian Region, we offer professional assistance, especially for people in crisis, victims of crime and violence. A large group of our clients consists of people in so-called debt traps. Position for services: professional social counseling, prevention of risky behavior Job responsibilities: - individual work with clients (professional social counseling including debt issues) - maintaining client documentation (including preparation of proposals for debt relief permits) - social and psychosocial counseling - cooperation with other organizations providing social services and other entities - facilitating contact with the social environment - collaboration on service development and organizational development - traveling to one of our counseling offices outside České Budějovice once a week - implementing primary prevention programs for risky behavior in primary and secondary schools once a week We offer: - full-time or part-time work (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) - salary 28,000 - 34,000 CZK (for full-time work) + performance bonus - salary increase after probation - opportunity for personal and professional development - 4 weeks vacation + 3 weeks flexible time off - friendly team - varied job responsibilities - training in required areas - benefits (mobile phone, notebook, educational courses, training, Edenred, sick days, home office, self-development literature) We require: - higher specialized or university education, according to Act 108/2006 Coll., on social services - clean criminal record - computer skills (user knowledge of MS Word, Excel) - responsibility - independence, ability to work in a team - communication skills, social skills - driver's license category B Experience in social services is welcome, but not required.
