Ekotopia vård is now seeking multiple treatment staff for all our facilities located within a four-mile radius of Aneby. We are recruiting both hourly temporary workers and fixed-term and permanent employees.
As an applicant, you should have relevant education such as treatment/social educator, care worker, nursing assistant, or equivalent qualification.
Ekotopia vård operates various treatment facilities including HVB for men, HVB for women, residential homes for men/women, and residential homes for women.
Our focus is on individuals with substance abuse/dependency issues, mental health problems, mental illness, trauma, experience of violence, and criminal backgrounds.
You need to have experience with similar work as this position requires knowledge, experience, and personal suitability. We need someone with a commitment and genuine interest in working with this target group. We are looking for someone who is positive and not afraid to take action when needed. You should have great patience, but also be able to maintain boundaries, be fearless, and feel secure.
Your responsibilities include working with our clients in their daily lives at the treatment home. This means supporting them in various areas—from helping them get through the day based on their wellbeing to assisting with more practical tasks. You will accompany them to, for example, dental appointments, doctor's visits, participate in various activities, and handle other daily tasks. This includes taking urine samples and monitoring sobriety and drug-free status, distributing medication as delegated by the nurse, and providing guidance throughout daily life. The role also includes cleaning, administrative tasks such as daily documentation, cooking, and whatever else is needed.
