Rīgas Sociālais dienests Rīgas Sociālais dienests announces a recruitment competition for social assistance organizer (Level 1) positions (profession code 3412 03) Rīgas Sociālais dienests is a subordinate institution of the Welfare Department of Rīga City Municipality that provides social assistance, organizes and delivers social services, and ensures assistant services to residents of Rīga within the municipality. The purpose of this position is to assess and ensure the provision of social assistance to meet basic needs of individuals. Accept and register applications from social assistance applicants, evaluate the social and material situation of individuals, and complete means declaration forms. You will be responsible for: informing clients about their rights to social assistance, the possibilities and procedures for exercising these rights, and their obligations when receiving social assistance; assessing the social and material situation of individuals (families), completing Means Declaration forms, and processing electronically received "Means Declaration" forms; accepting and registering social assistance applications in the municipality's social assistance information system SOPA; recording provided and received assistance and maintaining computerized records; providing accurate and understandable answers to client inquiries, etc.; preparing drafts of administrative acts and informational letters in accordance with regulatory requirements. We expect: Level 1 higher professional education or Level 2 higher professional or academic education, or students pursuing education in social assistance, social work, or charitable social work programs, as well as at least short-cycle higher education; State language proficiency at C1 level (highest level); ability to navigate regulatory documents; excellent computer and office equipment skills; communication skills and ability to interact with people; ability to make independent decisions within your competence. We offer: employment for an indefinite period; professional training; social guarantees (including health insurance; after one year of service, annual vacation bonus up to 50% of monthly salary once per calendar year and paid additional leave up to 10 working days); transport fare benefits on Rīga city public transport routes; monthly salary - 1280.00 EUR (before tax); work location - Social Assistance and Social Services Center at Ieriķu iela 2B, Rīga.
