Rēzeknes Municipality Administration "Social Services"
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a social worker, document professional activities, and report on services provided to clients.
- Work in an interdisciplinary team, participate in team meetings, and provide information on current issues.
- Develop and help the Client implement an individualized social rehabilitation plan according to their social problems and needs.
- Promote the Client's social skills development and acquisition of new skills. Motivate and implement the Client's social activation. Encourage the Client's desire to live independently and fully.
- Develop and improve the Client's social skills: improve self-care habits, orientation in the social environment, develop the ability to identify individual needs, participate in acquiring social skills, make decisions and take responsibility, motivate compliance with general ethical standards, improve communication and interaction skills with support institutions and service providers.
- Conduct individual and group classes, creative workshops for developing social skills and competencies (personal budget management planning; shopping and other daily life skills; maintenance of living spaces and premises; laundry and shoe care, personal hygiene; food preparation, behavior and table manners, etc.).
- Organize meaningful Client leisure activities in accordance with activity and class plans, document plan completion, promote Client participation - classes for Clients, cultural and recreational events, involving various institutions and organizations, thematic walks, hikes, excursions, sports activities (sports days, physical education classes, and other health-promoting activities), accompany Clients to recreational and cultural events outside the Center (concerts, exhibitions, theaters, cinemas, etc.), lead artistic activity clubs.
- Develop annual, monthly, and weekly activity plans for Clients and implement them.
Requirements:
- First-level professional higher education - Social Rehabilitation Specialist qualification.
- Latvian language proficiency – C1 (highest level)
- Communicability, ability to work in stressful situations, ability to analyze critical situations.
