The State Social Care Center "ZEMGALE" is Latvia's largest provider of state long-term social care and social rehabilitation services! We are hiring a SOCIAL REHABILITATOR at the "Jelgava" branch. We offer: social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations; salary (gross) EUR 851 – EUR 1220 according to professional experience and competencies; salary during probation period up to EUR 870; 25% bonus to the set monthly salary for special risk; reduced working hours within normal working time (35 hours per week); work experience in state administration; additional leave for special risk (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual evaluation (from 4 - 10 working days per year); friendly, responsive, and professional colleagues; health insurance after 3 months of work. Main job duties: assess clients' social functioning; diagnose clients' social barriers, social status, values, and determine clients' social skills level; participate in an interprofessional team during clients' social rehabilitation; participate in developing, implementing, and improving individual social rehabilitation plans for clients; improve social skills and foster new skills under the guidance of a social worker. Requirements for candidates: social rehabilitator qualification, short-cycle higher education in social rehabilitation or second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, if also obtained short-cycle professional higher education and level five professional qualification in social rehabilitation, or first-cycle higher education in social work and social worker qualification, if during studies or professional development education process completed part of the study program related to social rehabilitation of at least four credit points or 160 hours; knowledge in the field of social rehabilitation, social care, health care issues, psychology and pedagogy; knowledge necessary for performing basic professional tasks at the level of understanding; work experience in the care field will be considered an advantage; valid electronic signature.
