The State Social Care Center "ZEMGALE" is the largest provider of state long-term social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia! We invite you to work as a SOCIAL REHABILITATION SPECIALIST at the "Ziedkalne" branch. We offer: - Social benefits in accordance with those established in state administration; - Salary (gross) EUR 851 – EUR 1220 depending on professional experience and competencies; salary during probation period up to EUR 870; - 25% supplementary pay on the fixed monthly salary for hazardous work; - Reduced working hours within normal work time (35 hours per week); - Work experience credited in state administration; - Additional leave for hazardous work (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual evaluation (from 4 - 10 working days per year); - Friendly, responsive and professional colleagues; - Health insurance after 3 months of work. Key job duties: - Assess clients' social functioning; - Diagnose clients' social barriers, social status, values, and determine clients' social skills level; - Participate in an interprofessional team in clients' social rehabilitation process; - Participate in developing, implementing and improving clients' individual social rehabilitation plans; - Improve social skills and promote new skills under the guidance of a social worker. Requirements for candidates: - Social rehabilitation specialist qualification, short-cycle higher education in social rehabilitation or second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, if also obtained short-cycle professional higher education and fifth-level professional qualification in social rehabilitation, or first-cycle higher education in social work and social worker qualification, if during studies or professional development education process mastered part of study programs related to social rehabilitation in at least four credit points or 160 hours; - Knowledge in the field of social rehabilitation, social care, health care issues, psychology and pedagogy; - Knowledge necessary for performing the basic tasks of professional activities at the level of understanding; - Work experience in the care field will be considered an advantage; - Valid electronic signature.
