Talsu novads Social Service (registration number: 90009113532) announces an open competition for the position of social worker at the Talsu novads Social Service Family Support Department for work with families and children in Laucienes, Balgales, and Ķūļciema parishes (profession code according to classifier 2635 03) Talsu novads Social Service invites social workers to join our team to provide social work with families and children. Requirements for candidates: first or second cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work; completing second cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work (social worker qualification); experience in social work (last three years of experience will be evaluated); completion of additional training or courses relevant to job duties (within the last three years). Main job duties: conduct social work with families with children; manage social cases by engaging necessary resources and documenting the progress of implementation; organize clients' access to social services at their place of residence or in social rehabilitation institutions; where necessary, establish and engage an interprofessional team in the social case management process; work with the municipality's social assistance and social services administration software (SOPA); make decisions and be responsible for their legality.
