Jelgavas novada Sociālās aprūpes un rehabilitācijas centrs "Kalnciems" announces a competition for a vacant SOCIAL CARE WORKER position Key job duties: - plan and organize the provision of social care services to clients at an individual level, in accordance with the client's abilities, needs, and preferences; - participate in developing, implementing, and improving the client's social care plan in accordance with identified needs; - assess and determine the scope of social care services; - promote client participation in receiving optimal social care services; - coordinate the work of care workers and evaluate their performance; - regularly document in client files information about client social care planning, provision, and evaluation; - periodically (at least once per year) prepare a progress report for each client receiving care and submit it to the social worker; - promote clients' social activity; - support clients in maintaining and acquiring new social skills; - encourage clients' social activities by helping them maintain an active lifestyle; - document the social care process. Requirements for candidates: - education: first-level higher professional education and social care worker qualification; - prior experience in social work is desirable; - language proficiency: Latvian - advanced level; - ability to make decisions promptly and constructively and show initiative; - ability to work in a team; - proficiency with standard MS Office applications, electronic correspondence, and the internet environment.
