We are looking for an experienced blacksmith / metal fabricator JS Johanssons Smide AB is now seeking an independent and experienced blacksmith who wants to be part of our team. We work with a variety of metalworking projects for both companies and private clients. With us, no two days are alike – the work takes place both in our workshop and at various projects in the Stockholm area. Job Duties The work includes, among other things: Manufacturing and assembly of steel structures Railings, gates, fences and handrails Beams and other structural metalwork Cutting, drilling, grinding and welding Assembly at construction sites Reading and working from drawings and measurements Adjustments and problem-solving on-site Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with previous experience as a blacksmith, welder or metal fabricator who can work independently. You need to be practically minded, thorough, and able to find solutions when reality doesn't quite match the drawing. We would like to see that you: Have experience with structural metalwork and assembly Have good welding and metalworking skills Can read drawings Can measure, fabricate and assemble independently Are responsible and maintain high quality in your work Can collaborate with colleagues, customers and other trades A Class B driver's license is required. Welding certifications, hot work permits, lift certificates and other relevant qualifications are desirable, but the right experience and attitude weigh heavily. With us you get varied and independent work where you are involved from manufacturing in the workshop to completed assembly at the customer's site.
