About the Position We are seeking a person for a thriving and growing manufacturing company in central Eskilstuna. The client company works with aluminum melting and die casting, as well as post-processing in the form of milling, turning, and simple assembly. We are looking for a melter and a foundry operator who, after training during day shifts, can work permanent night shifts. Job Description As a melter, you are responsible for the process where aluminum is melted down and transported by truck to the foundry operators. As a melter, you receive aluminum and are responsible for three melting furnaces. You then transport the molten metal by truck to the casting machines and pour the metal into holding furnaces. Once a week, samples are taken and analyzed in a spectrometer. Inspection and daily maintenance of the furnaces are part of the job. As a foundry operator, you are responsible for one or two presses where you monitor the process, make adjustments, and modify existing programs as needed. ABB robots dose, handle, and move the parts through the first processing steps. After pressing, you handle the parts, remove them from the conveyor, and perform minor manual finishing work before they move on in the production flow. We are Looking for You - Good experience with forklift operation - Comfortable with practical and heavy work - Experience with screwing, mechanics, or working in an industrial environment - Good work ethic, willingness, and ability to take responsibility - Careful attention to detail and strong safety awareness - Able to read and understand Swedish in order to follow instructions and safety procedures
