We are now recruiting a caregiver for our team. Are you interested in working in an adult psychiatry department with the highest level of care? The focus is on developing safe patient care and working as a team with caregivers, nurses, doctors, and a counselor. If so, apply to us. We have a strong focus on development work in the department. Our goal is to maintain a good work environment, high patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Department 3 is an adult psychiatric department with ten care beds, where four are acute care beds for patients with high care needs. Six beds are general psychiatric beds. The patient population includes patients with both somatic and psychiatric issues. Common diagnoses include bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. We collaborate with other departments and outpatient services. We are currently implementing Safewards on the department. Job Duties Duties include psychiatric care and patient work. Contact with family members, supportive conversations, and motivational conversations. Participating in doctor meetings as the day's primary contact person. Serving meals during the day. Participating in various activities for patients and development work. Performing standard caregiver/nursing assistant tasks, which may include taking blood samples and vital signs. Supporting nurses with various work tasks. Collaborating in a team with doctors, nurses, and a counselor. Qualifications You are a trained caregiver or nursing assistant and can provide certification of your protected professional title, or have an older nursing education with a focus on psychiatry or a YH- or KY-education with a focus on psychiatry. You have good self-awareness and are confident as a person. We seek someone who is driven and has a strong patient focus. You enjoy developing yourself and working together in a team, have an interest in development work, and have a genuine interest in psychiatry. You should also be attentive and flexible. Experience in psychiatry is a merit but not decisive. We place great importance on personal qualities. About the Organization General psychiatry's 24-hour care is part of the general psychiatry operations area. Our care departments are located in connection with the university hospital in Örebro. Access to peer support and care beds for user-driven admissions are available in some of our departments. Collaboration with our specialist psychiatric nursing teams (SPOT) is an important part of our work. Together we work with common processes and goals. We work in multidisciplinary teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt care measures to the patient's needs and conditions. We work to promote the involvement of relatives in care.
