Ref: 20262043 Job Duties We are now recruiting a caretaker at Hyllievångsskolan and are looking for someone who is handy and enjoys performing a variety of different work tasks in a stimulating work environment! The caretaker's primary role is to maintain, repair and service various operational areas, both indoors and outdoors. Work tasks include repairing and installing equipment, managing alarms and key systems, and organizing facilities for new operations. Systematic fire protection work (SBA) is included in the role. Additionally, other services deemed within the scope of the position are included. The role involves many internal and external contacts. Responsibility for IT tasks may be included, such as maintenance and installation of conference equipment and hardware, as well as providing IT support to school staff regarding computers and IT aids. Qualifications You have a technically oriented upper secondary education. It is a requirement that you have experience working as a caretaker in a school and understand the special requirements that apply in an environment with children and students. You have a good understanding of facility-related matters and practical facility maintenance. You also have knowledge of systematic fire protection work (SBA) and safety procedures. It is advantageous if you have experience with lock, alarm and access systems, as well as experience handling fault reports and coordinating and following up work with external contractors. You need knowledge of facility management, working environment and safety matters. As a caretaker with us, you need to have good digital skills since fault reports, orders and communication take place in various digital systems. It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience with IT tasks regarding computers, telephony and IT aids.
