Then this position might be for you. Rinmangymnasiet has approximately 1,200 students. The school specializes in natural sciences, technology, and service. The school offers the Industrial Technology Program, Electrical and Energy Program, Natural Science Program, Restaurant and Food Service Program, Technology Program, Care and Social Services Program, and introduction programs. The school also has an adapted high school and resource units for students with complex needs. We are proud to be certified within Technology College, Science College, and Care and Social Services College. The school has a student health team consisting of a school psychologist, special education teacher, special educators, counselors, education and career guidance advisors, and three school nurses. The student health team works as a unit and meets once per week. We also meet within our respective professional groups. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be one of three school nurses at the school. Our school nurses work focused on different programs and units within Rinmangymnasiet. Together you will find a working method that suits you and best meets the students' needs. It is important to us that everyone shares responsibility for the school's students. This means we help each other when someone has a heavy workload. Our student health work is characterized by structure and clear procedures. You participate in both program meetings and joint student health meetings. As a school nurse, you contribute medical expertise to the school's student health work. You provide support in both preventive efforts and matters concerning individual students. You offer our students health visits and vaccinations according to an annual schedule. With a warm and professional approach, you create secure relationships with both students and guardians. You will get a secure start with us. You receive introduction from an experienced school nurse colleague and have support from both a school doctor and Medical Student Health. You have the opportunity for knowledge exchange and contact with other school nurses through the network group you are part of. We also offer joint professional development and group supervision together with school nurse colleagues at other schools. QUALIFICATIONS You are a registered nurse with further education as a school nurse/school health, district nurse, or health and nursing care for children/youth. It is advantageous if you have experience working with children/young people, preferably in the role of school nurse. Since our facilities are located at different sites, you need to have a driver's license. We are looking for someone who is good at collaborating with different professional roles to offer students the best possible support. You have understanding for our students' differences and can adapt your approach based on the situation and their personality. You can independently manage your planning and areas of responsibility.
