Welcome to Student Health Services at Högalidsskolan
As a school nurse with us, you work in a coordinated Student Health Services department. Högalidsskolan has well-developed routines and structures for Student Health Services work, but we are constantly evolving.
The school is a municipal primary school located in Hornstull on western Södermalm. The school has approximately 830 students in grades F-9 on its roster. The school includes two central special education groups (CSU). The total staff of the entire unit consists of 130 people. School leadership consists of a principal, 4 assistant principals and an administrative manager.
Organizationally, the school is divided into grade-level teams. The school's two CSU groups, CSU Högalid 1-6 and CSU Högalid 7-9, constitute two separate teams.
The Student Health Services team consists of two school nurses, a psychologist, counselor, educational and career advisor, teacher, resource teacher, special education teacher and special needs educator. The principal is responsible for student health services, but one of the assistant principals has personnel responsibility and operational responsibility for student health services.

Your Role
Job Description
Perform the school health services' medical interventions at the school according to applicable guidelines and instructions. In the current organization with focus on grades F-6. Together with the school doctor, the school's other school nurse and in consultation with school leadership, be responsible for organizing the medical interventions of Student Health Services at the school. The work involves collaboration with students, guardians, school staff as well as healthcare providers and authorities outside the school.
As a school nurse at Högalidsskolan you work together with school leadership and other student health services personnel. You also work in close collaboration with the school's mentors and teachers.
Your Competence and Experience
One of these qualifications is required:
Licensed nurse with one of the following specialist nurse qualifications:
Specialist Nurse Program – District Nurse 75hp
Specialist Nurse Program – Child and Youth 60hp
Specialist Nurse Program – School Nurse 60hp
Other
Meritorious
Previous experience as a school nurse
Public health science competence
Experience working with the ProRenata journal system
Experience working with students with diagnoses within AST and ADHD
