The school has 100 students in grades 7-9. We have small classes and high staff-to-student ratio. The school is located in newly renovated facilities at Telefonplan in Hägersten. Job Responsibilities As a school nurse, your work focuses primarily on health promotion and prevention. The overarching goal is that all students have the opportunity to meet approved learning requirements in school. As a school nurse, you are part of a coordinated student health team at the school and work closely with the school doctor, special education teacher, psychologist, counselor, and assistant principal and principal. A coordinated student health team supports students' development toward educational goals. The school nurse's duties include standard school nurse tasks that are important parts of this work. Health visits and the open clinic are important components in ensuring each student receives the support they need at school. Other responsibilities include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program. Qualifications You must be a licensed nurse with specialist education in health and medical care for children and youth or in public health and medical care. Previous experience working with children and youth, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered a merit. The position requires good computer skills.
