JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
School counseling duties with placement in Vellinge kommun's central student health services. The assignment can be directed toward primary and/or secondary school based on operational needs. You need to have experience and knowledge of methods for preventive and health-promoting work with students as well as experience/interest in working closely with guardians. Ability and interest in building good and sustainable relationships with students, teachers, school leadership, and other student health personnel in order to create the best possible collaborative forms with the student's needs in focus. Being involved and proactive in the school's and student health services' drug prevention work. You also need to help create conditions so that students feel motivated and engaged in their schoolwork and feel secure in their school situation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a degree in social work (socionom), preferably with advanced education focused on schools. You have interest and experience working with students in need of special support. You should have experience in social work in schools. You have the ability to work independently, in teams, and in a consultative capacity with school staff. You also have experience with and the ability to collaborate/cooperate with various professional competencies and authorities. You have good knowledge of how the new school law regulates student health services and procedures for students in need of special support. You are attentive, have a natural ability to collaborate, are outgoing, and curious. You easily build relationships with students, school staff, and parents. You work proactively and long-term. You are driven by a desire to help every child see themselves as an asset, knowing what strengths they have to contribute to a better world. Your focus is on helping children and students meet an uncertain future as healthy, secure, active, and conscious members of society.
