Derome is now seeking a shift supervisor for the regional warehouse in Landskrona. In this role, you will have clear responsibility for daily operations and the opportunity to lead your team toward shared goals in a business where safety, quality, and collaboration are in focus. You are a role model in everyday work and act in line with Derome's core values: drive, simplicity, responsibility, and long-term thinking.
Your main duties include:
Team leadership in your shift
Working with picking of building materials and hardware items, and loading and unloading both incoming and outgoing goods
Leading, allocating, coordinating, and prioritizing work within picking and loading
Planning and prioritizing picks as well as completion of shipments
Daily workforce planning, handling of absences and shorter leaves
Assessing staffing levels and overtime needs in consultation with the operations manager
Ensuring that quality and safety procedures are followed
Daily supervision of forklifts and monitoring that instructions are followed
Leading daily pulse meetings and contributing to continuous improvements
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience working in warehouse and logistics
Previous experience leading a team
B driver's license
Forklift certification A1-4 & B1-4
A natural leadership ability and good interpersonal skills
A service-minded approach and strong problem-solving ability
Good organization, orderliness, and ability to prioritize
Ability to work both operatively and coordinatively at a high pace
Product knowledge within building materials & hardware, and leadership experience are meriting.
