What You'll Work With at Södra As a Shift-Based Technician, you play an important role in ensuring safe and reliable production. You work closely with operational staff and other maintenance functions to quickly solve problems and contribute to continuous improvements in operations. In this role, you will, among other things: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in electrical and instrumentation areas. Carry out installation work on electrical and instrumentation equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and restore equipment during operational disruptions. Plan and carry out work tasks in a safe and structured manner. Participate in risk assessments and contribute to a safe work environment. Contribute to projects, improvement work, and technical development. Work closely with operational staff and other maintenance groups to ensure high facility availability. The position is based in Mönsterås with continuous shift work (6-shift rotation). Who Are We Looking For? To be a strong candidate for this role, we see that you have: Upper secondary education with a focus on electrical engineering, automation, or equivalent competence. For the role, BB1 certification (or equivalent B certification) is required to independently perform electrical work in the operation. Strong knowledge of logical troubleshooting methodology. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Experience with repair and installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment. Good command of Swedish. B-class driving license. Good computer skills and administrative ability. It is a merit if you have experience from process industry, manufacturing industry, or other operations with advanced automation and control systems.
