About the Position

Now we're strengthening our maintenance operations at our sawmill in Mönsterås and are looking for a shift mechanic who wants to develop together with us. What You'll Work With at Södra
As a mechanic at our sawmill, you'll work continuously and preventively with maintenance work and be part of the department's ongoing operational development. We offer broad and responsible work where you'll receive, perform, and report maintenance work at the sawmill. The work involves problem-solving both independently and in collaboration with others.
- Experience with maintaining machinery equipment or working in some form of production flow
- Hot work certificate
- Forklift license
Placement at Södra's sawmill in Mönsterås, full-time and shift work, start date by agreement.
Who Are We Looking For?
We're looking for you who have at least upper secondary education in a relevant field, preferably with complementary work experience as a mechanic. You have a positive attitude, are thorough, and have good technical understanding. As a person, you have the ability to see things in context and have an inventiveness that means you don't shy away from problems that require new solutions. You enjoy collaborating with others and understand the importance of good communication with your colleagues. For us at Södra, work environment and safety are important matters, which is why you need to be safety-conscious. In addition, you possess good knowledge of the Swedish language and hold a class B driver's license.
