Make a difference. Every day. Child and adolescent psychiatric inpatient care in Malmö is a region-wide service for children and young people up to 18 years of age. The inpatient care includes an acute unit for stabilizing interventions and an acute reception that handles patient triage. Additionally, there are two care units in inpatient care that provide treatment to patients who need a longer hospital stay to reach functional capacity and then continue their treatment in outpatient care. Inpatient care is provided to patients who need intensive support. On the units, we work in an interdisciplinary manner, with the patient's and family's needs in focus. Care Unit 2 has eight beds for eating disorder treatment. In addition to this, there are two beds for patients with user-directed admission (BI). The unit's mission is to help the patient gain weight by supporting guardians in taking control of the patient's meals and normalizing eating. Care is provided in close collaboration with guardians/relatives and early cooperation with neighboring care units and the municipality. Here you will use all your expertise in meeting each young person and quickly build alliance to meet the child where they are. Much of it is about listening and being present. The facility is staffed 24/7 and we may need temporary workers for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. On Care Unit 2, the nurse has a clear leadership role. The unit primarily treats patients with anorexia, and the goal of care is to address the acute starvation and work to enable the patient to return to outpatient care as quickly as possible and receive continued treatment there. As a nurse on Care Unit 2, you participate in rounds and collaborate with your team in daily work. We strive to work based on evidence and use care protocols. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. If you have specialist training in psychiatry, we see that as a merit for the position, as well as if you have CBT level 1. We would like it if you have experience with the documentation program Melior.
