Are you a licensed nurse seeking a flexible night shift hourly position? We are now recruiting additional hourly nurses to strengthen the municipality's night organization. We offer you independent and varied work, where no two nights are the same. Welcome to us Health and Care Team 13 is part of the Health and Care function (HS) in Jönköpings kommun, which consists of a total of 13 interdisciplinary health and care teams plus one home care team. We have specialist focus areas in psychiatry, palliative care, home rehabilitation, dementia, and disability services. Together, we are approximately 460 committed employees. HS Team 13 comprises Jönköpings kommun's palliative care team (JPT) as well as the night organization for nurses. Here we work closely together and support each other to create the best conditions for both patients and colleagues. The team includes nurses with broad expertise and a support person. We operate from our team office located at Asecs shopping center. Your New Role In the night organization, nurses and specialist nurses are responsible for home healthcare during nighttime, regardless of living situation. You will meet both younger and older patients with varied care needs. As a nurse, you will independently perform scheduled and acute home visits and provide treatments and interventions based on your medical assessment. To deliver safe and high-quality healthcare, documentation is an important foundation in your work. Being in an hourly position means: You will cover regular staff during absences Your working hours are agreed upon based on the organization's needs and your preferences Your Qualifications You are a licensed nurse with previous professional experience. Specialist training in, for example, elderly care, palliative care, psychiatry, or district nursing is advantageous. Previous experience in care and welfare work is beneficial, as is experience in palliative care. A driver's license (Category B) is required as the work covers the entire municipality. You have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills. You have good physical mobility as the work takes place in home environments, requiring you to adapt your work methods to the circumstances available.
