Then don't hesitate to apply to us at the Urology Department! Within the urology business area (VO), there are two care units in Malmö that recently moved into the new hospital premises. The units have 36 care beds in total. Unit 3, located on floor 7, has 12 care beds, and Unit 4, located on floor 8, has 24 care beds. The focus is on highly specialized urological care with all types of urinary tract operations. VO urology provides highly specialized urological care for patients undergoing various types of urological procedures. We also treat patients with acute urological conditions such as infections, bleeding, and conditions where kidney function is threatened. With us, we have close collaboration between the care units where we work continuously with each employee's individual competence development. We use laparoscopic and robot-assisted procedures that result in short hospital stays and high patient turnover, creating a dynamic workplace. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a nurse, you work in close teamwork with other professional categories. The job tasks are varied and challenging as patients are of different ages with different types of diseases. Together we drive the daily work forward with sustainability and individual development in focus. Through colleagues and scheduled reflection time, you have the opportunity to develop safely in your professional role. We work together around patients where we provide support, teach, and develop care collectively. At Skånes universitetssjukhus (Sus), we work with alternating assignments for nurses and nursing assistants. By combining work within inpatient and outpatient care, competence is developed, preparedness is strengthened, and resources are used more efficiently. At the same time, better conditions are created for continuity, collaboration, and a sustainable work environment with a more even holiday workload. Newly graduated nurses are offered the opportunity to take a clinical base year that includes lectures, clinical skills training, and access to a mentor. The position involves day/evening shifts or alternatively a night shift. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. If you have previous experience in urology, other operative activities, and/or the journal system Melior, this is considered meritorious. As a person, you are calm and stress-resistant.
