About the Operation
County Health Services for Psychiatry and Habilitation coordinates county health services for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and habilitation in Region Västernorrland. County health services operations are conducted at three hospitals—Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik—and at a number of clinics located in several municipalities throughout the county. The area has approximately 700 employees.
Unit 51 is a psychiatric intensive care unit (PIVA). You will meet a serious and positive work team that sees the person behind the illness, guided by the principles of commitment, security, empathy, respect, and responsiveness. The unit primarily cares for individuals under the Law on Closed Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT).
We are now recruiting a registered nurse for psychiatric unit 51 in Sundsvall! This is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.
Job Responsibilities
As a registered nurse on unit 51, you will work in a stimulating work environment with varied responsibilities.
In patient-centered care, you will guide and support patients in discovering and developing their own resources and in managing their illness symptoms.
The work is both exciting and varied—you will work independently while also being part of a multidisciplinary psychiatric care team with strong cohesion. If you are a newly graduated registered nurse when you start with us, you will participate in an in-depth orientation program that runs during your first year. Holds a valid license as a registered nurse
Has strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
