As a nurse with us, you will be offered engaging and continuously developing work in outpatient care at the clinic as well as rotation to the orthopedic ward one day per week, which is 20 percent. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. You will work in a varied and dynamic environment where you work at the clinic and rotate one day per week to the ward. As a nurse at the clinic, you will among other things work with • participating in daily clinic activities which include casting, wound dressing, and outpatient procedures • telephone consultation • planning and booking clinic visits. As a nurse on the ward, you will among other things work with • patient care including preventive work against healthcare-associated injuries • medication administration • handling of medical equipment such as infusion pumps, VAC pumps, central lines, feeding tubes, catheters, and epidural anesthesia • documentation and planning for patient admission and discharge • patient information and education • participating in the unit's development work and our shared workplace environment. To thrive with us, you need to be able to handle the varied daily work at an orthopedic clinic. You are skilled at prioritizing and reprioritizing, can switch between different tasks, and can handle a sometimes high pace without compromising patient safety and quality. You are responsible and can work goal-oriented and systematically. You have a fine manner and see respectful, attentive, and empathetic communication as an important tool in your contact with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other internal and external parties. You have strong ability to both lead and collaborate. In your role as a nurse you must • be a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare • be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. For this position, it is beneficial if you have previous experience working in orthopedics or experience working in the Cosmic data system. Employment form: Permanent position.
