About the Department
MAVA Cardiac Unit in Örnsköldsvik is part of Primary Care North. The department specializes in cardiology and acute medical care. We highly value developing our operations, patient safety, competence development, and work environment are important to us.
We are now seeking a registered nurse to join our team! Whether you are an experienced nurse or new to your profession, you can contribute to our team. When you start with us, you will receive comprehensive and lengthy onboarding. We have a structured mentorship program on the department for nurses where you are offered personal support and learning from experienced nurses. The department has a nurse supervisor whose main task is to support and guide staff daily in all situations that arise, from major to minor issues.
We offer newly hired nurses the opportunity to participate in a development year for new nurses where you receive training during the year and meet other new colleagues. There is also the possibility for competence development in both cardiology and the department's other specialty areas, such as telemetry interpretation and training courses. If you have a CSN loan, you may also have the opportunity for loan repayment of 2000 kr over 24 months. We offer individual preferred schedules with great flexibility and the possibility of reduced working hours. We have individual salary setting and a competence ladder with financial compensation.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with temporary placement at MAVA Cardiac Unit. Start date is by agreement. You will work 2 out of 5 weekends as well as day, evening, and night shifts.
Job Duties
The department cares for patients with, for example, ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and internal medicine patients with conditions such as COPD, diabetes, or acute infections. Work tasks vary based on patients' needs. As a nurse with us, you work in a team together with nursing assistants and doctors. You are responsible for:
