The Surgery and Urology Department is a short-term care unit with 18 beds for pre- and postoperative care including urology, surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and pelvic floor surgery. We are open Monday through Friday and care for both outpatient and overnight patients. With us, you get varied work with a strong focus on safety and quality of care.

JOB DUTIES
We are now looking for a registered nurse who wants to be part of our great team at the Surgery and Urology Department in Landskrona. The position involves mixed shifts—day, evening, and night—Monday through Friday.
During the introduction, there is an opportunity to shadow, for example, the clinic, recovery unit, and operating room to get a complete picture of the patient's care journey. We also offer internal and regional lectures.
We are responsible for the patient both pre- and postoperatively and work patient-centered with sensitivity to the patient's needs.
We monitor vital parameters and treat pain and nausea, among other things. The variety of surgical procedures gives you varied and stimulating work tasks.
Amanda, who has worked in the department for nine years: The work is varied and I learn something new every day. The work team is humble and there's always someone to ask—no question is stupid. The work is characterized by a lot of laughter and the manager's door is always open.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and Swedish equivalent at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. Experience in recovery work and surgical and/or urology activities is advantageous.
As a person, you are engaged, responsible, and work well with others. You enjoy both independent work and teamwork, can prioritize when the pace changes, and show care for both patients and colleagues. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
