About the Operations
The surgical operations area has close collaboration between the county's three hospitals. The area has a regional mandate for acute and planned surgical care and also provides certain highly specialized care for patients from outside the county. There are 350 employees within various units such as outpatient clinics, care wards, operating rooms, and administration. Planned healthcare is increasingly localized to Karlskoga and Lindesberg, and similarly, tumor and trauma operations are localized to Örebro. The operations area conducts active development work with patient focus throughout the care process.
Lindesberg Hospital is one of Region Örebro County's three acute care hospitals. Here you'll find all the advantages of a small hospital—a friendly and familial atmosphere combined with efficiency and extensive expertise. The hospital has approximately 600 employees.
Region Örebro County is one of the county's largest employers. Together with 11,000 colleagues, you can create a better life for those we exist to serve. We provide healthcare, dental care, and the county's public transportation around the clock, year-round. We also have regional development responsibility in the county and a mission to contribute to cultural life.
