About the position Takyflödet treats patients with cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular tachycardias, atrial fibrillation, and other atrial arrhythmias. During 2025, we performed over 2200 procedures for cardiac arrhythmias and are counted as Sweden's largest electrophysiology center. We have great expertise in the field and therefore there are also good opportunities for further development within arrhythmia care. We perform ablations on both adults and children. We are a pleasant work group with doctors, nurses, electrophysiology technicians/BMA, and nursing assistants who all work together to carry out the ablations. We care about maintaining a good work climate and believe it is important to be able to work as a team. As a nurse at Elfyslab, you will be a central part and be included in the team around the patient. Collaboration with other professions is of great importance as we believe that all perspectives are important when it comes to providing our patients with the best possible care. The position as a nurse involves you, together with a nursing colleague, being responsible for preparing and starting the day's ablations. You will also work in the operating room where you either provide sterile assistance to the doctor or are responsible for patient care during ablation. We treat both sedated and awake patients. In addition to daytime work, there is also the opportunity to work in the inpatient ward on our units where our patients are pre- and post-operatively cared for. You will be employed at Karolinska University Hospital with primary placement in Huddinge, but some work may also take place at our site in Solna.
