Our Operations and Your Assignment Welcome to us!! Being a nurse in child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) is exciting work where you get to meet people in many different situations. You will also become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you work independently. Here you can count on varied work with challenging tasks. The position involves working with children, adolescents, and their families together with the rest of the team. You meet children and young people at individual visits but also together with their family/network. The work is varied and as a nurse you can also work with, for example, telephone counseling and clinic visits for follow-up and care. The work also includes collaboration with BUP's other operations, neighboring care units, adult psychiatry, and social services. Close collaboration exists with the team's physician regarding medication monitoring and regular rounds are set aside for medication issues. You will receive a mentor and regular supervision, and the nurses at the clinics meet regularly for method development. Your Qualifications You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry, and it is desirable that you have experience working with children and young people. Your Competence You always put the patient in focus and are responsible and motivated in your work. You are not only a skilled nurse, but also an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment.
