Bäckebol Care and Residential Home is a beautiful dementia care facility with a large garden and 75 apartments, located near Selma Lagerlöfs torg. We have a professional and compassionate approach that enables security, participation, and respect for residents and staff members. During daytime work, we operate from Bäckebol Care and Residential Home, while on weekends and evenings we operate from our shared healthcare office at Sankt Jörgens väg 1. As a nurse, you work on a basic schedule, which means you work primarily daytime during weekdays with some evening shifts and one weekend on call every fourth week. We offer you varied and engaging work where you get the opportunity to meet people with different healthcare needs. You have the opportunity to plan and influence your workday. Your tasks include assessing, planning, and structuring work for individual patients and their next of kin based on a person-centered approach. As a nurse, you work independently and have patient responsibility. You work in close collaboration with your colleagues such as nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation teams. You also collaborate with unit managers and care staff at the residential home, as well as with social workers and physicians. About you We are looking for a licensed nurse with at least 1 year of professional experience. Experience in municipal healthcare is a merit. The position requires a valid B driving license. The work involves both independent work and teamwork. Therefore, we require that you understand the shared mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole, while being able to act and make decisions independently when the situation requires it. An important part of your role is meeting with patients and their next of kin. Good care is therefore essential—you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role.
