Do you believe that teamwork, good camaraderie, and patient-centered care are important? Would you like to work in an organization where proximity to one another creates opportunities for excellent collaboration and a coherent care chain for the patient? Then we might be looking for you! Job Responsibilities The job responsibilities are typical nursing duties in inpatient care. As a nurse, your work includes blood draws, catheter placement, EKG, blood pressure checks, blood glucose testing, NEWS, and wound care. You also have responsibility for patient care and close collaboration with other staff on the unit, family members, and other departments. Administrative work includes documentation in Cosmic. About the Workplace At Köping Hospital, you are welcomed to a workplace with a familial and open work environment. The operation is large enough to provide solid experience treating common medical conditions and small enough that you as an individual employee have the opportunity to see the bigger picture, be recognized, and feel at home throughout the clinic. Department 1 has 18 beds with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary patients. Patients come for post-care from the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit with telemetry monitoring, but also from the emergency department or via referral. The unit has high patient turnover with relatively short hospital stays. As a nurse with us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team together with other nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech-language pathologist, and dietitian. We use ISP scheduling in Tessa, which gives you the opportunity to influence and plan your working hours based on the organization's needs and your own preferences. For us, it is important that you feel good and enjoy your work, so we offer you: - an adapted orientation program so you feel secure and confident in your professional role - opportunities for professional development through, for example, internal training - a workplace for different life stages, the possibility of flexible working hours within certain limits - free training at our fully equipped gym - wellness allowance 3000kr/year More about your benefits can be found here: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/ Curious?
