In our Acute Care Unit (AVA) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMA), you'll meet patients with acute care needs across a broad spectrum – including internal medicine, infectious diseases, orthopedics, and surgery. Here, patient stays are short, the pace varies, and you'll follow patients through observation, assessment, treatment, and care during an important stage between the emergency department and ongoing care.
