Villa Sarvträsk is a modern residential facility with 74 apartments divided between somatic and dementia care units. We have a shared garden and nice common areas. At Vardaga, you also get engaged colleagues and skilled managers. About the Role You are central to the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. Collaboration and Support You work in a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Getting to Know the Residents Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Clear Procedures To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, we have comprehensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-apply procedures, policy documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading. As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital onboarding program. Your Experience and Knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we would appreciate if you have worked several years in elderly care. Our residents often have multiple medical conditions, which requires both broad knowledge about various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging people. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important. We would like you to enjoy working independently and having the freedom to shape your work days feel confident in your role as a nurse and be able to make quick decisions and have discussions with the responsible physician take your own initiative, have drive, and dare to take responsibility enjoy having a leadership role and supporting your colleagues be accustomed to structuring and organizing your work.
