SiS also administers secure youth care. We operate youth residential facilities and homes for adults with substance abuse problems throughout the country. SiS Youth Residential Facility Johannisberg operates in Kalix and in Boden (Sävastgården unit). Job Description SiS Youth Residential Facility Johannisberg consists of two units, one in Sävast and one in Kalix. Our target group in Sävast is school-age girls with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse. All work is guided by our core values of Respect, Care, and Clarity. As a new employee with us, you will receive thorough introduction, foundational training, and further education within our field of operations. As a nurse, you will become part of our healthcare team, which in Sävast consists of nurses, psychologists, and child psychiatrists. You will be responsible for healthcare at our facility in Sävast, with 12 placements total, working together with a nursing colleague stationed at our Kalix unit and psychology colleagues. Your work tasks include medical assessments of our young people and serving as their primary healthcare contact. In most cases, you determine whether young people need care within primary healthcare or if other healthcare contacts are necessary. In collaboration with unit staff and other professionals at the facility, you will participate in conducting assessments and substance abuse treatment. You participate in the school's student health and treatment work to contribute your healthcare expertise related to each young person. You are part of our school's student health efforts and part of the treatment team at the unit. Working hours are daytime, Monday - Friday. Qualifications We are looking for someone with the ability to build trusting relationships with our young people. You share SiS values of being a place for change. You must also have: Licensed nurse Good Swedish, spoken and written Driver's license category B Please attach your diploma and nursing license to your application. Diplomas issued in another country must be translated and validated in Sweden through the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Meritorious: Advanced training with a focus on school nursing or psychiatry. Several years of experience working as a licensed nurse.
