The department is part of Sahlgrenska Academy at University of Gothenburg and operates on Campus Medicinareberget with direct proximity to Sahlgrenska University Hospital, an environment characterized by interprofessional collaboration, clinical relevance, and high academic quality. Our department has approximately 1,200 students pursuing education in licensed healthcare professions, at both basic and advanced levels. Clinical Training Center (KTC) is a faculty-wide unit offering simulation-based learning for students at Sahlgrenska Academy. CPR education is delivered interprofessionally to students from 17 different educational programs. Teaching takes place in collaboration with instructors and other employees at KTC. KTC is seeking a nurse with a focus on CPR instruction who wants to develop with us and contribute to our important work in education and research. With us, you have the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with pedagogical work and help create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for our students. Duties As a Nurse and CPR Instructor at KTC, you will primarily work with instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation at various levels. The role may also include other simulation-based instruction. Administrative tasks are part of the daily work. You work in close collaboration with the program's teachers, clinically active supervisors, teaching assistants, and other employees at KTC. You will also be part of our collaborative development work and actively contribute to the department's goals and operational plan. This includes participation in joint meetings and activities as well as the opportunity to contribute ideas on how our instruction and operations can continue to develop. Qualifications We require that the applicant holds a Swedish license as a nurse, is an instructor in S-CPR for adults and children, and has experience teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The applicant must have strong knowledge and skills in CPR and demonstrate pedagogical competence in instruction. Language requirements include fluent Swedish in speech and writing as well as good knowledge of English in both speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have previous experience teaching students and experience with simulation-based instruction. Educational administration is part of the position, and therefore high administrative ability is also advantageous as well as good digital proficiency.
