Position Description The Public Health and Healthcare Unit in Ljusnarsbergs Municipality consists of approximately 20 employees led by a Unit Manager with support from two coordinators. The unit includes occupational therapists, assistive technology specialists, district and registered nurses, and specialist nursing assistants. The health and healthcare unit is an overarching unit that collaborates externally but also places great emphasis on teamwork internally - all to ensure the best health and healthcare for those we serve. We are now seeking a licensed district or registered nurse who wants to join our team. The position is permanent and the main placement is in home care, but it may be necessary to provide coverage in other areas as needed. The weekly working time is 38.25 h/week, mainly daytime hours, and you work one weekend out of four. Job Responsibilities Close collaboration with the municipality's other nurses is essential in our small community, and you will receive support from a coordinating nurse and a medically responsible nurse. You are responsible for medical assessments and interventions, guidance and support for nursing staff, documentation, team collaboration, and following the procedures and guidelines in our operations. We constantly strive to develop our services and share responsibility for quality, patient safety, working conditions, and economics. Our workplace is characterized by mutual respect, commitment, participation, flexibility, development, and joy. It is in the meeting and interaction between the individual in need of the municipality's services, family members, and professionals that the results of care and support are created. Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse. Further education in dementia care, geriatrics, psychiatry, or district nurse training is a plus. Good collaboration skills, sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently are important qualities. A Class B driver's license is required.
