About Us The Eye Emergency Department's mission is to receive patients with acute vision-threatening conditions, accidents, and other acute eye complaints that require prompt handling. Patient visits are short. We are open every day between 8 and 4 p.m. We work in teams staffed by optometrists, nursing assistants, ophthalmic nurses, nurses, specialist physicians, and resident physicians. The team's specialized expertise contributes to delivering good and safe care. About the Position We offer the opportunity to work with acute eye care at the forefront. Your work tasks include conducting an initial patient assessment, eye-specific examinations using modern technology, and telephone consultations. You will receive individualized training. There are opportunities for professional development and further education in ophthalmology or orthoptics. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse or master optometrist. It is advantageous if you have at least one year of work experience, preferably from working at an eye clinic or in eye care. You need to speak and write Swedish well, and we would like you to have good English skills. Personal Qualities You have good collaboration skills, are organized, and confident in your professional role. You enjoy working both as part of a team and independently. We place great importance on personal qualities. Terms The position is full-time and permanent. Start date by agreement. Scheduled working hours with duty every third weekend and some evening shifts.
