We are seeking a registered nurse who wants to join us at a newly established dementia ward at Judiska Hemmet. The position is full-time (100%) or by agreement if another arrangement is preferred. There will be a total of six nurses serving 76 residents in our collaborative nursing team. Management consists of an operations manager, a unit manager for the somatic unit, a unit manager for the dementia unit, and an administrative manager.
You work independently and can prioritize your tasks. Communication, both verbal and written, is an important part of your role, so we expect you to have strong communication skills and be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a significant advantage if you have leadership experience and/or training in areas such as organization and management, but this is not a requirement. We also wish that you have knowledge and preferably experience working with people with cognitive impairment, have completed BPSD training or other training in dementia diseases and person-centered care. As a person, you are responsible, thorough, service-minded, and flexible, with a genuine interest in people.
Your role as a registered nurse includes standard nursing tasks that occur in a residential care facility, such as assessing residents' health, performing health and medical care measures, both acute and planned. Providing care at end of life, documentation, risk assessments in the national quality register Senior Alert, and registration in the Swedish Palliative Register. Maintaining contact with family members and conducting care planning, consultation with physicians, and supervision of staff. You perform all tasks with the resident in focus—we work person-centered and in an interdisciplinary manner within both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). Knowledge and training in dementia diseases is a merit.
The facility is run by a non-profit association and we have a total of 76 apartments.

Working hours: Daytime with weekend duty every 5th weekend and flexible hours.
