Forensic Psychiatry in Örebro consists of five departments with a total of 43 inpatient beds, two of which also manage our outpatient care, and department 8 is one of them. In this recruitment, we are seeking a nurse for inpatient care at department eight. The patients here have been transferred to care instead of prison and are treated according to the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). The patients generally have complex issues, which makes the work varied and stimulating. We are now looking for a dedicated nurse who with drive and interest wants to work with patients sentenced to forensic psychiatric care. You are welcome to a pleasant workplace with challenging tasks, and the operation runs several different projects to improve care and patient participation. Duties Care is person-centered with the patient in focus, and as a nurse you are the person in the team responsible for psychiatric nursing care in the patient's treatment. You work together with care workers, treatment assistants, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers. You will be a so-called responsible nurse where you have a central role in the team working to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The duties are varied and you work both individually and in group activities with the patients. You are also expected to contribute to the development of the operation and take responsibility for improving the parts of care you are responsible for. Qualifications Nurse, basic education. Specialist training in psychiatric care is a merit. A driver's license is a plus but not necessary. Application Applications are processed continuously. About the Operation Within forensic psychiatric operations, we investigate, treat, and rehabilitate people sentenced to forensic psychiatric care. The operation consists of a number of care departments and an outpatient team. Together we are around 90 employees working with common processes and goals. We work in multidisciplinary teams based on a holistic view of people and adapt care interventions to the patient's needs and circumstances. We work to promote the involvement of relatives in care.
