Our wonderful colleague has resigned to pursue full-time studies. We are now seeking a dedicated substitute/registered nurse who wants to join our great team and continue contributing to patient care at Aleris ASIH Södertälje. Our ASIH unit is located in central Södertälje next to the commuter rail and bus station, making it easy to reach by both bus and train. About Us Within Aleris ASIH, we work in multiprofessional teams with doctors, registered nurses, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists to provide our patients with the best care. We operate from several locations in Stockholm County. Aleris ASIH is part of Aleris Närsjukvård, which also includes two specialized palliative care units, Basic Home Care Services, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Närakut. Our operations have extensive experience in ASIH and currently manage nine different ASIH teams in the southern parts of Stockholm County. We have high expertise and well-established working methods, and we operate a well-functioning palliative inpatient care unit with 24 beds located at Handens Sjukhus. Within ASIH, we care for seriously ill patients who receive care in their own homes and need advanced care interventions that would otherwise be provided in hospitals. Our goal is to create conditions for the best possible quality of life, regardless of where the patient is cared for. This includes providing the best possible symptom control and relief based on the patient's own wishes and through 24-hour availability. Everyone in our multiprofessional team works closely together to meet patient needs in the best possible way. We work in a person-centered manner and use the 6 S's as support for our approach. We also actively work on implementing digitalization within healthcare, such as video visits, messaging, and reception services for the unit. The tasks as a registered nurse are varied and challenging, which contributes to continuous development. You will work with digital tools among other things, and we always work from a person-centered approach. You have significant personal responsibility but always have backup from the team. About You We are looking for someone who is committed to providing good care, personal interaction, and who through your professionalism maintains high quality in patient work. As a registered nurse, you are experienced in working independently and adapt easily to different situations you encounter. We are looking for someone who wants to engage in the development of the operations and, in collaboration with your colleagues, work toward modern and effective care. You are interested in working with digital tools as aids—everything from video meetings to transcription tools. Background You are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with specialist competence. We are looking for someone with great interest in palliative care and specialized home care. Previous experience working within ASIH and/or oncology care, preferably hematology, as well as other relevant experience is valuable for this position. Experience with prescribing is desirable. Other Requirements * You are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with experience working within ASIH or oncology care, preferably hematology.
