Welcome to apply for a job with us – Together we create the best learning! Description We are seeking an SFI Teacher for Jämtlands Gymnasium and Vux Bispgården. In this role, you will combine teaching adult students with administrative responsibilities and collaboration with SFI programs in Berg, Bräcke, and Ragunda. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of a permanent contract. The position is 60–80 percent depending on your competency profile, with start date as soon as possible. Your Future Responsibilities You will teach adult students with different educational backgrounds, experiences, and educational levels. Teaching within SFI focuses on second language learning at a basic level and is based on students' needs and circumstances. In your work, you will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction. You will work closely with colleagues, study and career counselors, and other stakeholders, such as various municipal agencies. You will also participate in collaboration forums for SFI between the municipalities of Berg, Bräcke, and Ragunda. Distance teaching within the federation's member municipalities may be part of the role and will be conducted from the school. The position also includes administrative responsibilities. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with experience teaching SFI or other second language learners and who has a good understanding of and familiarity with how learning takes place. You are confident in your pedagogical role and view documentation, assessment, and digital tools as a natural part of your work approach. You have a strong commitment to building relationships in teaching and want to develop together with students and colleagues. You prioritize the student and work to meet, support, and help each student progress in their studies based on knowledge, ability, and needs. You are curious and willing to try different approaches to help students succeed in their studies. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with others. What Can We Offer You?
