Vecsaules pamatskola, a municipal institution of Bauskas novada pašvaldība (Registration No. 4512901302), is announcing a vacancy for the position of Groundskeeper. Requirements for Position Candidates: Education: minimum primary education; secondary or specialized secondary education is preferred. Professional Knowledge and Skills: - Groundskeeping and territory maintenance skills and experience; - ability to work consistently and as part of a team, assess work priorities; - knowledge of technical equipment used in work, understanding of operating principles and usage regulations, and ability to apply them. General Knowledge and Skills: - positive thinking, high sense of responsibility and precision. Key Job Duties: - regular waste collection, raking of lawns, removal of sand and stones from grass areas; - emptying waste bins, sorting waste; - collecting dirt, sand and mud from sidewalks and road edges and stacking in piles; - sweeping territory sidewalks and road edges; - raking lawns, collecting branches and waste; - raking grass after mowing; - maintaining plantings; - mowing grass, maintaining territory. - raking leaves and transporting them to designated areas; - during winter season: clearing snow and ice; distributing sand from boxes and spreading during slippery conditions. We Offer: - employment contract for indefinite period; - compensation in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 445 requirements; - monthly salary before tax: 780 EUR; - social guarantees as specified in regulatory acts; - opportunity to work in a small and professional collective at Vecsaules pamatskola; - supportive colleagues and team support.
