The headquarters is located in Tumba south of Stockholm, next to the research and development farm Hamra. This is also where the group's headquarters and factory for milking robots are located. About the Role As a service technician, you primarily work performing service, troubleshooting, and repairs on DeLaval's various products such as milking systems and milking robots. You have your own customer base and work independently in DeLaval's sales tool where you contact your customers to schedule meetings to, for example, perform service or simple installation. Part of the job also involves sales where you analyze the customer's needs and sell accessories, spare parts, and consumables. You work from home and operate in Kalmar and Öland. On-call work in a larger geographical area as well as travel and overnight stays are part of the job, and when needed you may need to work in surrounding areas. Your days consist of visiting customers at meetings that you book yourself. We would appreciate it if you also take your own initiative and visit your customers spontaneously to further strengthen customer relationships and perhaps also build relationships with new customers. To succeed in the role and stay long-term at DeLaval, you will receive comprehensive basic training at Hamra Farm in Tumba, joint trips with experienced colleagues, and continuous further training. You have a strong drive and work goal-oriented and independently with all tasks. The service technician role involves a large portion of administrative work, for example regarding invoice management but also in the sales tool where you plan and book your own customer visits, so it is important that you have good computer skills. To succeed in the role, we believe you are a team player who is practically minded with work experience as an electrician, mechanic, or from similar technical roles. You have solid technical interest that is demonstrated in your great interest in vehicles, vehicle mechanics, and computers. Furthermore, you have high social competence, love personal meetings where you market yourself as the customer's service technician, and you value providing good service according to the highest standard. Requirements for the Position High school education, preferably in electrical/technical programs or work experience in a relevant field for the position Technical knowledge and passion for providing customers with good service Good computer skills Class B driver's license Fluent Swedish in speech and writing as well as good knowledge of English Meritorious for the Position Experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, and/or milk production Other Information Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
